The Appleton Company started with Ken Appleton Sr. in 1960, which specialized in constructing Industrial buildings. Ken Appleton Jr. was raised in the construction field and began his quest at a very early age, by the time he was 16 (1980) he was wiring homes as the primary contractor during the summers. Upon graduation Ken Appleton Jr. went on to pursue a Business career within fortune 500 Companies such as EMC, CLARiiON & Qlogic Corporation and in his last corporate position he became Director of Sales for North America in the Enterprise Computer field.
